Frequently asked questions
- What is an entity audit?
- A review of how a business, its people and its products are identified across its website, structured data, profiles and knowledge bases, and how search engines and AI assistants recognise them. It finds contradictions such as name variants, wrong sameAs links and disconnected schema, and lists the fixes.
- How is it different from an SEO audit or a schema audit?
- An SEO audit looks at pages, crawling and rankings. A schema audit checks markup is valid. An entity audit asks whether every source, including markup, profiles, knowledge bases and AI answers, agrees on who the business is, and fixes the places where they don't.
- Will it get my business into Google's Knowledge Graph or AI answers?
- No one can guarantee that. The audit removes the inconsistencies and gaps that make a business hard to identify, which is what you can control. How and when search engines and AI assistants use the corrected information is up to them.
- Do I need a Wikidata item?
- Not necessarily. Wikidata only accepts items that meet its notability policy, usually meaning serious, publicly available references about the business. The audit tells you whether you qualify; if you don't, it won't recommend creating an item that is likely to be deleted.
- Which AI assistants are tested?
- The major general-purpose assistants and AI search features your customers are likely to use. The exact list is agreed at the start, and every answer is recorded with the sources it cited.
- Do you add review stars or ratings to my markup?
- No. Google does not show review stars on a business's own LocalBusiness or Organization markup when the business controls the reviews, and fake or copied ratings break its guidelines. The audit flags this kind of markup for removal.
- How much does an entity audit cost?
- Pricing depends on the number of entities, locations and websites in scope and is agreed after the first call. No prices are published on this site.
- What do I need to provide?
- Access to the website or its HTML, the names, locations and websites you know about, the profiles you control and anything you already know is wrong. No passwords to third-party profiles are needed for the audit.
- Who provides the audit?
- Neural Command, LLC, the company behind NRLC.ai, based at 1639 11th St, Suite 110-A, Santa Monica, CA 90404.
